How We're Funded

God continues to bless our ministry with funding from a variety of sources. Each is an answer to prayer, as collectively these sources encourage us and allow us to fulfill our mission.  Our funding sources include:

…Twin County United Way. We have been blessed as a Partner Agency of our local United Way organization since 1993. 28% of our money is provided by this partnership.

…Individual contributions. We are blessed by a large number of individual donors who provide 25% of our money each year.

…Nez Perce County, Idaho. We have been blessed with recognition as a charity by the Nez Perce County Commissioners budget since our beginning in 1984. 14% of our money is provided by Nez Perce County.

…Local churches. Our initial grant was written by the Valley Christian Aid Network in 1983, and start-up funding was provided by this grant. A good number of churches have provided support every year, with current money being 14% of our annual total.

…Grants. Each year we apply for several grants to support our mission. Some of these are from within our community; some are regional in scope. Usually these annual grants provide 11% of our money.

…Contracts for services. We are blessed to contract with two organizations who reimburse us for transportation and other expenses. Currently these contracts provide 8% of our money.
